About the Artist: Yannis Davy Guibinga (b.1995, Libreville, Gabon) is a master storyteller whose work explores the manifold identities and cultures of Africa and its diaspora. Through photography, Guibinga not only documents but celebrates this multiplicity, aiming to counter the dominant narratives associated with the African continent.
Guibinga’s narrative prowess, combined with his incisive eye for composition and colour, has enabled him to establish an extensive and remarkable portfolio which has led to collaborations with brands including Apple and Nikon.
